He was so thorough about the interviewing process about my father and about getting to know what my family’s needs were and how we were all feeling about the decision we were about to make. Charlie was so efficient about setting up visits for me to go on as I was the designated family scout. He was my stalwart support and at no time did he waiver from being on my team in this difficult process. A decision was made, and my father is settled quite nicely into The Grove at Midtown. His guidance and compassion led me through this process such that here on the other side I am comfortable about my father’s care and have a positive outlook about how things will progress for my father as his dementia progresses. I wanted to learn about Independent Living and Assisted Living and contacted Lydia Robbins at LIFE Senior Services. She referred me to Charlie Redding. I am going to be moving to Florida and am interested the facilities down there so I wanted to have as much knowledge as I could before I get there. Charlie has been wonderful. He developed a profile on me and then sent me a list of facilities to research. Once I did that, we chatted and came up with a list of 4 Independent Living places to visit. He set them up and we went in and I had my clipboard and list of questions. Then we visited 3 Assisted Living facilities. Charlie set us up with wonderful people at each place to speak with.
I’m 71 and not in need of these services any time soon but I have learned so much. Charlie has been very gracious with his time and has been a wealth of information and I just can’t thank him enough. I told him that he has a big heart to be able to do what he does. And he is very professional and compassionate. I very much appreciate the time he has spent with me because he is a busy man.
